Our Mission
To enable custodians to restore and maintain Lancashire’s historically important properties as our combined legacy for future generations.
Our Story
Having worked together at a national restoration contractor, our founding members came-together to apply our specialist experience to our local area. Working close-to-home, we can:
- Offer an option for traditional specialist works against ‘general contractors’ (which too often prompt corrective works by a specialist)
- Make time on-site productive, enjoying sustainable commutes and quality time with our young families
- Benefit as members and neighbours of the communities we live and work in
Training & Qualifications
To ensure the safe and effective delivery of our services, our team is qualified in:
- CPD: BLF Hot Mixed Lime Mortars

Our Team
Gavin Fletcher

Gavin started his career as a qualified Quantity Surveyor on the Heathrow Terminal 5 project. From there he continued gaining experience with construction developers at national and local scales.
Having developed an interest in business management, Gavin became the Commercial Manager at an internals subcontractor, expanding their operations. This continued into his role of Contract Manager at a national restoration contractor.
Gavin has managed many listed building conservation projects across Lancashire and the country, including; Heritage Lottery Funded Projects, the Brecon Beacons, Churches, Museums, Statues, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and a World Heritage Site.
With his main focus on costing and operations, Gavin also provides site support to the team.
Scott Little

Scott started his career in the army as a Royal Engineer. He travelled as far as Kenya on construction projects such as building homes and schools. His training included specialised building and structural trades, plus internal finishing – such as floor tiling and plastering.
After leaving the military, Scott furthered his experience in a stone yard as a trainee stone mason. He then undertook a City & Guilds qualification in painting and decoration. Subsequently, Scott went on to establish his decorating career, working full time self-employed.
In order to pursue his passion of heritage works, Scott has proceeded to work as a self-employed craftsman with national restoration companies. His level of experience and knowledge in Lime Work and Sympathetic Cleaning progressed to co-founding this company.
William McCaigue

Will began his construction career learning groundworks. He then progressed to working alongside experienced Craftsmen in the Heritage Industry, which provided him with an all-round knowledge of Historic Trades.
Whilst assigned to larger projects working with roofing teams, he naturally progressed to Leadwork. Will has continued to excel at Traditional Roofing and Leadwork.
Now a CSCS Gold Card holder for his craft, his Lead Welding and Bossing has great attention to detail and is regularly complemented.
His Heritage Restoration skills have flourished from a new focus and maturity since joining the Company. A driven leader, Will now manages the roofing side of the company… but also loves to keep his feet on-the-ground with dry-stone walling.
